Exhibition text The UWM project goal was to create a mixed media art work.Mixed media is made with found objects. For my art piece I decided i would interpret the beauty of nature even when its in its worst shape making this possible by placing different object to communicate my idea by the shape i gave to the art piece. |

Meaning behind my piece
The UWM project goal was to create a mixed media art work.Mixed media is made with found objects. For my art piece I interpreted natures beauty in a more literal way placing various nature objects to represent a woman's face in which the woman shows a grin on her face.Going more into a deeper meaning all of the material used were all dead plants and branches which i wanted to demonstrate how nature will always be beautiful even when its in its worst form.In the case of this project I manipulated this by adding different objects which gave my art piece a form which helped me demonstrate my meaning to the art piece.the shape I decided to give my my art piece was a woman, the reason i choose to place a woman was because a woman is always viewed as something fragile and beautiful which was the same idea i had in interpreting how nature is.
Artistic inspiration
For my artistic inspiration I choose Sharon Mccartney I choose her because She utilizes nature in many of her mixed media art pieces she has made, which gave me an idea of how i could also utilize nature in my project.

Reflection
I enjoyed making this project it was fun making various aspect come into place together to construct an art piece that when it is viewed gives a meaning .A challenge I had through out the project was brainstorming how i would deliver the message i wanted the audience to obtain from my art piece using different found objects.I feel I was able to accomplish my goal.I am glad we were assigned this project because i was able to explore a different type of art.
